the trucks that get us to the track

ok here is something new at least for me ok iam getting ready to inherit a 89 ford f150 but not sure if its able to tow a trailer with the race car to the track so just to maybe get some ideas on maybe a different truck or what to upgrade on this one lets see some picks of some tow trucks that help the people here get there race car to the track seeing how the truck plays an important role if we are not getting there then we are not winning any races so lets role that bean footage and see some pics ld_school::black suburban::wav::wav:

What motor is in it? What kind of trailer are you towing?

I would say... Good brakes & a class 3 hitch & trailer brake system is a must, a quality tune up, good tires, brakes & a good maintenance schedule, stay on top of everything... how much does the car & trailer weigh combined ? is it a open trailer ? or a inclosed trailer ? , the pick-up truck could be too light for the trailer car combo, for example a 5500-lb truck pulling a 8000-lb trailer isn't really a good idea, the lead vehicle & weight is the stopping force for both the truck & trailer... Just use some common sense & don't over tax a small truck with an extremely heavy trailer/car combo... Good luck & Happy Towing

1964 F-250. It's pulled everything I've every tried to pull with it. Including an 18 wheeler that was broke down in the middle of the road. I pulled my Dodge on my trailer and everything else that I own on the bed of the truck from Bellingham WA all the way to Nashville TN.

I've got no pic's but I use 1999 dodge ram 250 with a turbo cummins.I tow 20ft enclosed and she tows like trained seal.
