Up for sale is my 1979 Mustang Ghia that I have owned since '84. I acquired the car from a friend in '84; he purchased it new. I drove the car daily until ‘91, from that time until the present as a Sunday cruiser or car shows. Paint work is 80% original with the lower half and front repainted due to stone chips. The interior seats, carpet, dash and dash pad are original. The motor, 4 speed trans and 3.08 rear end are original and have never been removed from the car. Wheels are the original TRX that have been polished with 220/55/390 TRX tires. Exhaust is aluminized 2.5” from Y pipe thru out with Flowmaster muffler. It has been cared for with no water being used to clean, only California duster and spray wax since '91. The mileage (you won't believe it) is 119,147, as this car does not show it. If you google 1979 Mustang Ghia you will see photos of the car that I posted on various websites that were taken in 2003. As you can see, the car still looks the same; it is a true survivor. (Attached photos taken 1/6/19)

Not yet. But I agree there's some cool cars still out there if you're willing to put some effort into them.

Deciding to sell my coronet because of life circumstances. It runs and drives fine. It was my daily for two years. I've done tons of work to this car. Great project car or drive as is. NOT rust free but a solid car.

Suspension: new KYB shocks, heavy duty leaf springs, complete front end rebuild with polly bushings.

Steering: new steering box, hoses, tie rods, pitman and idler arms, new wheels and tires

Fuel: new tank, sending unit, 750 quickfuel carb, fuel pump

Brakes: drum all around, new shoes, wheel cylinders, drums, hardware, complete stainless steel lines, master cylinder, hoses

Engine: 383 with 727 trans, new MSD ignition, RB Firecore RTR distributor, spark plugs, wires, Edelbrock intake, ceramic coated headers, 2.5 inch exhaust, Dynomax mufflers

Lots of other stuff i dont have time to list. I have all the receipts for everything I've bought. Tons of parts with warranty. Has rust on the normal parts. Nothing that can't be fixed. Never bothered me. Doesn't have much interior but all the seats are there. $9200 obo Clean Title. Serious buyers only thanks. Call or text 361-876-9797

Mopar only please.

Plenty of resources for gm and ford elsewhere.

225CID six turns over but won't start, has been sitting for several years.Three speed manual transmission with column shift.

One of my jobs in the late 70's was to drive a slant 6 equipped 3-speed column shift van and that this was a friggin dog.

I drove a /6 3 on the tree shorty van ONCE.

That was the hardest vehicle to get moving I've ever driven.

The owner actually bet me $5 I couldn't do it.

I won the 5 bucks, but only drove it one block, pulled over, got the F out and gave back the keys.

uh!!!! Mopar or no car!

Greetings YY1! Don Selleck kinda/sorta chastised me @ post #211 for posting all that weird ****, too. You also prove an excellent point about wasting space on our FBBO forum posting Government Motors or FORD salvage. There is plenty of places elsewhere on the interweb for that to happen. I hope I am allowed some degree of freedom for posting an occasional Willys gasser priced right, or possibly an AMC muscle car, so long as there is no steady diet of the same.

I am kinda/sorta a noob on FBBO, but I am a quick learner............... Luv All You Guys!
