I got one of these right before Christmas. It’s a Tone Bender Mk II Fuzz like Jimmy Page used on LZ1. But I like Pete Townshend as well. He invented the Marshall Stack. I also have one of those.

Queen doesn't crack the top 50 IMO....... other than the fairy in the tutu, I can't name one band member

Nope. That was 1974 before Queen made it big in the states. It was a poke at Glam rock.

I will say this about the Who-

As much of a bad-*** as JPJ was/is, the first time I ever noticed that the bass player was working harder than the guitarist...

...was Entwistle.

WAY underrated.

Some of those bass lines are just crazy not to mention busy.

i saw “who “ live twice and have to say they are an awesome show . i had tickets to zeppelin to play here but tragedy struck the band and the show was cancelled, sadly it was on my birthday too . i admire both bands , tons of talent. in my world today i list euro zeppelin more . also enjoy townsend on his own . and i agree entwistle is a great bassman .

interesting. it’s kinda cool many of these early bands did there early years singing blues music .cool for me as i’m a blues music fan ….
