kind of a vacum. PC is slow dog @ moment..i'll ck the video later. At home now. Took some vicodon. i'm beat up today, glad it's over.....but it's just a prologue. Trying to move to OC is going to retard getting enrolled in medi-cal, so i will choose Riverside Co Medical providers....i am lucky that Doc Torrey knows all the Urologists here in IE.
Hope i can sleep through the night.....Monday, back to the dance with med-cal....hopefully this week will procure the New Team out here, plus an Encologist....Doc Torrey wants me started on chemo within next 2 weeks.

Dont worry about chemo it is not like it was years ago. Very advanced and well managed your going to beat this. Be glad knowing how far the treatments are now. You will get adjuvent therapy which is to make sure they zapped it all. Huggs dude.

Anyway back to things of importance. Since your in the IE I would recommend either the City of Hope in Duarte or Loma Linda - both excellent facilities with experts in cancer care. They can do anything Hoag can do and more. Keep us posted on your treatment and keep your eyes on the prize. God is good - you have insurance now - something you didn't have before. My men's group lifted you up in prayer last Wednesday night.

Loma Linda is who im pushing for....Doc Torrey knows all the urologists out here....many of the protocols here are same as Hoag, si hopefully i get set into same plan as what Doc Torrey presented & he will still be in loop for consultation. Have to get serious with phone calls to medi-cal tomorrow......Doc wants me to be in chemo in no more than 3 wks. When stuff slows down for You, & GTX is fixed, come over hill to see me Boss.....You can work on Your Car here anytime. Smiles

Jimi, I have just been through this with a childhood friend. He chose the bag instead of the neo-bladder. He did the chemo, then a couple of months off to strengthen for the surgery. He came out of surgery and was on very light duty for 4 to 6 weeks and as of a couple of weeks ago, he is back to work! It is a tough path, but totally doable! Thoughts and prayers are with you buddy!!!

Connected with a medi cal worker today....hopefully a step further tomorrow. All german to me, fortunately a case worker from Hoag Hospital is helping me navigate the channels. The back & hip pain have been keeping me anchored down, trying to not abuse the vicodon.....some tense moments, in all candidness....aye yi yi........Church sent me a pizza today been messing with my new toy, a BK Butler original, pre chandler, Tube Driver. ...putting out fires with gasoline . The deck just got durtier

A Jarritos tutti frutti, a desert night with balmy breeze, walking off the pain.....the vicodon is running low....roll a coupl'a bombers & dig in for the night......hope to make some more ground with medi cal tomorrow. Hope i can get this pain into a box soon so i can get some work done......have two projects close to completion now...."tree of life" & " Mr. Gadget". Then i want to get this little Beechcraft Cardinal prop started......make a nice stand for static display & hook electric motor to the external oil pump so blades can be articulated. What is unusual about this prop is that it is full feathering, even though its a single engine bird.

Jimi - any news on moving things to Loma Linda? Hoag should be able to transfer your records there and start maki g some calls. It's the same as with Hoag - they have to treat you. Push the system or it will push you brother. No time to waste.
