Sorry to Hear, Jimi. Remain strong brother.

I'm not a very religious guy, but I believe that there's someone out there somewhere that's watching over us all. I will say a little prayer for you Jimi and hope that you make a full recovery. Fight the good fight and know that we are pulling for you.

Sorry to hear the news. Hang in there and keep fighting hard. God speed and good luck.

I grew up in this Bird from 1962 to 1968. My Old Man was Chief Pilot for Duval Mining in Tucson.....Duval bought it from Gulf Oil,Whom it was converted for in Fifties...One of three dubbed GulfStars.
A Lockheed L-18 Lodestar with Mods.,wings clipped, long nose, flap tracks removed, Curtiss Wright 1820 engine conversions....Dad didn't like the Wrights...Lockheed produced the majority of L-18 's with Pratt & Wittney i believe. Pretty slick... just a cut under a Learstar. Bill Lear's Lodestar conversions. Some Lear Trivia....the original first model 20 series Lear Jet was built from a Military proposal that Seversky Aircraft planned. Military passed on it, Bill bought the basic design & applied it to the expanding Corporate Aviation niche..
Duval ended up part of Pennzoil' & They kicked down one of their Grumman G-1 Turbo props, when the G-ll pure jet arrived. Before the Gulf star, in San Antonio, Tex (my Birthplace in 53) He flew a mildly modded Lodestar...retained the flap tracks.....with the external tracks, flaps fully extended, trailing edges were in the weeds....difference in landing speed between the two was significant.......Gulfstar had to come across fence about 105 mph...the Lodestar around 90 mph. The Gulfstar was state of the Art in avionics packages. Along with the Lodestar, He flew a C-18 Twin Beech...converted from Military C-45.

Best wishes for a complete recovery and a healthy life.

Hey Jimi--The best overall healer is the living energy we have that we are born with.
Our natural immune system keeps us alive attacking cancer from day one.
Your -intent- to keep living tells your body you are not done yet.
I'm looking forward to hearing how well your body comes back after the intrusion.
Cheers.

Hey Jimi sorry to hear you are having to go through that. My family will be praying for a complete recovery, strong mind and great doctors....
Keep faith, fight hard, and live life!
God bless!

God Bless All

Hey Blade, not the greatest news but is doable. I have a few less internal parts as well as a few foreign parts and I'm still hangin in. Looks as if you are a couple years older than me is all, and you WILL come out the other end. Run right through it like fire, I've always found new to go on as you will. Peace, johnny.
