I'm guessing the police package also got you air shocks and red heater hoses

I'd like to hear the guy explain that to both of us. spotlight delete? ok

Well I mean did the police package not come with air shocks and red heater hoses?

I mean either way its a complete scam you cant even click on the reply section, it just says error (at least for me).

I am thinking that it is a scam.

The car was listed at http://topclassiccarsforsale.com and the location was given as Cody, Wyoming. There were additional images too.

I was just being sarcastic. I've never heard of nor seen evidence of any police package available for any early Dodge charger. Coronet and satellite/belvedere, yes

Yep you can usually, not always, but usually find the same 'too good to be true' listings on CL on their legitimate sites by doing some internet searching. The original ad doesn't show price (I'm sure it's higher lol) It also says left hand drive!

i do a lot of biz on craigslist and id guesstimate 99% of those reply to craigslist email for contacts are scams.
very rarely do i run the gauntlet and find a genuine seller at the other end.
but that has happened, and have gotten some tremendous deals from cl also.

If you find it, I'll still take it!! I'm sure who ever owns it doesn't know it's for sale. I call BS. Imo.

If it looks like a scam, and quacks like a scam, it's a duck ... err, I mean, scam !

Google has a neat feature where if you're in the Chrome browser you can click on a photo and select "search for this image" and if the same photo is somewhere else online (like it was in this case) it will find the other website for you. Provides an easy way to do some online investigating and weed out fraud. You can do the same thing by copying a chunk of the written description and pasting it into Google search. Usually the scammers are too lazy to rewrite the description and will just use the original one verbatim. My two cents.
