Congratulations! I paid off our house at age 50. I will always remember how good that felt. We've been debt free ever since.

Thank you Ulli, Lol , that idea ( retirement) is always in my mind, not that I dont want to work anymore, but now a new chapter in our lifes begin, as you know we do not have any kids , and saving for retirement begins, I do not picture myself not waking up early in the morning and not go to work, but saving money now Is a must, I want to take a free year without debts and speed up the coronet, once again thank you for your warm thoughts my friend.

Muchas Gracias hermano, de hecho mi mujer y yo estamos sin creer que ya se acabo pero si, ya nos hablaron para darnos los papeles de la casa y claro que si a ahorrar para el retiro, aunque quiero retirarme viejo pero no tanto, el retiro y el ahorro para ello ha sido la platica constante los últimos días para que de viejos no causar lastimas además se que necesitamos actualizar las maquinas de la tintorería y comprar otra camioneta de reparto, pero ya no vamos a estar tan apretados de dinero, espero verte el año wue entra en chicano si me renuevan la visa un abrazo cabron.

Congrats! I can’t wait till ours is paid off think we have 7.5 years if we don’t pay off early but now most all interest is paid so most of the payment is taking off the principle now which is nice to see…

The bank notified us that this month is the last payment of my home, this has been a long and hard journey specially with the pandemic, but never ever miss one pay, am 46 yo and this feel ...odd we ( the wife and i) still don't believe it, the interest here are way higher than in the US and sometimes we just had enough to spend the weekend, ten long years but is finally over, I want to share this with you, bunch of old grumpy guys.
My wife is in charge of all the decorations.
