Folks,
I have a Tucson original 62 Fury with bone stock 318, 2bbl, and 727.
Time to rebuild the motor and make her more fun.

Looking for advice/info on cam, exhaust, pistons, etc. I just got a Weiand 7503 that I was hoping to use to put a 4 bbl on her.

Would like street friendly machine with more zest.

see photos from 2014 when i bought the car. Still looks the same!

thanks,
Desertfury 62

Another great choice is Bruce Toth in western Pennsylvania
He has stroker cranks and can build you a set of heads with oversized valves and modified rocker arms.

Gary Pavlovich isn't far from you (California). He supplied me all my parts for my rebuild and is a total gentleman. Depending on your build you may want to sell the Weiand manifold and source a factory 4 barrel instead. I had the 7503 on mine and it wasn't ideal for street use - unless you have deep gears and a looser converter you'll notice there's a real torque hole below 3,000 rpm. I ended up selling it and switching to the factory manifold. There is also the Chrysler Wind Tunnel manifold available but again that needs certain other parts to "work" properly - Gary can advise on all this.
I kept mine stock stroke and it goes well, loves to rev to 6,000 rpm even with the stock exhaust manifolds, but I'm planning on stroking to probably 360 cu in sometime next year just for the extra torque.
