thanks, you would think that's illegal, I've seen a few titles sold as art before, more or less in a pitcher frame, under-glass... if it's not attached to an actual car, isn't that a form of fraud or intent to commit a fraud ??... I noticed pick up only, they won't ship, maybe trying to avoid federal penalties vague legalities etc., for using the mail or going across state lines or something... I'm surprised E-Scam allows that stuff....

I questioned an ebay seller that had listed a 71 Dart 2 door with a LL41C VIN.

His response was- "It's been rebuilt from the ground up, that's what it is".

It would be good if someone would keep a database off all these VIN's and titles for sale and have it available on a site. Even the completely destroyed cars offered for sale because you know those will be sold for just a title and rebodied. Maybe even here on FBBO? I can see a search function for these VIN's that pops up a screen shot of that original ad. Anyone who runs across one can upload the info.

Titles are bought and sold all the time in the hot rod world and most could really care less.How do you think most of the glass Willys and Fords get titled?Think how many of the rat rods out there would even pass a inspection?

redhorse I`m not sure, I think this one was on about the same time or close to it ,I no that propwash and I talked about it way back then they both were on ebay not sure if the orange one sold but I believe the conv. did

I think ebay goes through and shuts down all the title sellers every once in a while....I had all mine removed by ebay again a while back. I think they are just playing with us. Some states have strict titling laws, and some could care less...just want your registration money
