hello all
as you may know i just picked up 2 more mopars.
67 satellite convert with 318 auto and 66 hardtop 318 auto
i have the car going into body shop later this week. fender, door and quarters rust repair.
floor pans are not that bad but have seveal small rust holes. same with trunk. the top drip rail is rusted badly.
i was wondering if it is worth fixing all the rust or to just get back on road.
here are my options.
1. replace all the rusted areas with patch panels
hours and hours of work.
2. replace top rail and treat rust area cover with soundproofing on inside and undercoating on underside.
i prefer to put money into drive train and suspension and interior
disc brakes, sway bar, rebuild engine/trans, new rear gears and completely new interior.
i dont think that the car would benefit from a full restoration.
please provide me input!!!!!!!!!!!!!
