I am sure I did, but like many I am sure I jump on and off here so the context of your first post was lost. I am not hating on you or anything, just saying that I took your post as a want ad (sale ad); again I realize you didn't mean it that way.
 
When I first read that post as well I took it as a for sale ad also.....

yep, that car is a “polished pig”....
 
Darren was the Best! He knew more than Mark, It was fun to watch him bust Marks balls. Dave is greatly missed. Hopefully it gets better.
 
I agree, a better platform for that crate engine is the general consensus here... what a waste.

It's important to note that this car is not done and ready to ship. There was a rush to have the car at SEMA, so we did what we had to do to get it there on time. Basically, that means we didn't have the time to QC and fit everything like we wanted, so we're doing that now. We do have to rework the bodywork on the left and right quarter due to filler cracking at the molding attaching points. Final assembly and delivery will be May 2020. The car can be inspected at any time and I would encourage you to do so.

I wonder why they would do shoddy work, and then have to go back, and fix it. What is going to pop up after you spend $110,000.
I'd rather have something done right the first time. And what about all the hype last season, only to see more of the car on your for sale ad.

Just a wee bit harsh don't you think.... I can't stand the show or Mark but this is going a little far. If others like the show so be it, as was stated in the beginning, "just turn the channel" but going off the rails with the insults isn't really helpful in anyway, just causes people to be quiet or hit back which of course starts a crap storm over nothing but a TV show.

While these forums can be really beneficial they seem to bring out the worst in people, I've met many people I don't like and in a few cases had to deal with it up close and personal but the internet just seems to draw out all manner of piss poor behavior.

but then I've been personally attacked for calling out their bullshit in the past.
I should throw a few more logs on the fire
as I'm just returning the favor
and that shows what those clowns are all about
its all about money and they will lie to people's faces to get
as much of it as they can.
and until I get a apology
my boot will be shoved as far up their asses as I can!
 
I assume you are referring t GYC hosing you somehow and now you are slamming them back? Let me quickly add that I am not at all judging here, if you have a beef with GYC then "you go boy", hammer them as hard as you like, again I am no fan of theirs and do not expect I ever will be, I am not at all impressed with the quality of their work and even less impressed with Mark's "expert" attitude which clearly isn't deserved even a little.

when commented on it and saw that the greasy parts flipper
was defending the shitty work, the next gyc thread that appeared
I predicted he would do the same thing again
he didn't like my prediction much when it came true
and he went off on me.
I'm sure one of the minions who are refreshing this page
are reporting back to him what I wrote
so he can come on here and insult me more.

If I can read between the lines I suspect this is a thumbs down for GYC.
 
Everytime I see one of their builds I can't help but think of that 1970 lime green charger that they cobbled back together. The filler is cracking on this belvedere? Are you kidding??
 
Well there is no doubt they suck in a variety of ways to include their ability to build a car. If they were just another shop it would be one thing but they are making money off people based on the show which IMO is just wrong especially when they turn out crap. You would think that if you were going to go on national TV and tell everyone how great you are and how awesome and perfect your work is, then you would actually try and fulfill that. It just adds insult to injury and I really feel for anyone that would take their beloved car to these guys when for the same money you could actually get the car you think you are getting. I wonder how many people have tried to take them to court?
 
Considering that the shop is not "real" but just a television episode, what would you would be filing suit against? I imagine people attempted to sue Jerry Springer also but there was never the thought that it was real. You supply the "prop" for the "show" and get it back after you pay "money". Does anyone really think this is real?
