Too much carb for my 440?

Sonny remembers putting a holley 850 double pumper on my RR 383....it burned my eyes at an idle BUT man did it turn on!
...1/4 mile...I would put the avs back on for street driving, sometimes.....man R & RB mopars love GAS!
