Tornado Watch East Coast

I got lucky. Over 8” of rain here, but not too much water in the basement.

It does make me think... others weren’t so lucky, and lost their houses to flooding, and probably more than a few project cars got ruined.

I have to get my car on the road.

Before it’s too late.

That was the remnants of Ida, not "fresh from the oven" Ida, and yet it still caused so much damage.
Prayers and positive thoughts going out to those affected.
After driving around my immediate neighborhood a little yesterday and today enroute for essentials, I am more convinced we had a tornadic event that was as close as 2 blocks away. The same time I was outside my front door looking. Sounded like locomotives!
