I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get the front of my 66 Sat up without burying the adjuster screws so finally just bought a new set from PST and put them in today. Found my answer I guess.

Old ones are 3-1/2” and new ones are 4 “ long. So what was original?

I got the car sitting good with the heads of the screw about flush with the bottom of the LCA. The threads on one of the old screw plates looked pretty messed up/partly stripped and now I’m wondering if it wasn’t actually slipping a little which would explain why I had trouble getting that side up even with the other side.

Looks like I should have only measured the threaded portion of the bolts which makes them 3-5/8” bolts. That seems to be standard length. Don’t know where the shorty bolts came from.
