Only if it was jetted to take advantage . Mine has been with-in .05 between 300 and 3000 DA. With the same MPH.The density altitude was -138 feet at Etown on Sunday.
So that's a 9.90+ at Lebanon Valley.

Id suggest stainless or hell fire rings. if the ring grooves and pin bosses look good Line to Line coatings can coat the pistons and tighten up piston to wall if necesary. I don't know if E85 is availible in your area but if it is I'd switch over in a heart beat.It was Doug,on pump it was 12.5 @ 12 lbs, last pass was 11.5 to 11.9 @ 16 lbs. I think I plain wore the Moly off the rings Leaked down last week was 18% which accound for a tenth & 5 MPH decease since last year. Already have a set of SUPERPERFORMANCE gaskets, just hope I didn't score a hole. But the 60 did come down some when I tightened the rear shocks 2 clicks. After the second pass the breathers looked like a BBQ.

Want to look into the gapless top ring also.Should have it apart in a few weeks.Pictures will follow. I can't believe I got 5 years out of it!! Street driven and beatin regularly!!Id suggest stainless or hell fire rings. if the ring grooves and pin bosses look good Line to Line coatings can coat the pistons and tighten up piston to wall if necesary. Have not really looked as of yet.Friend of mine has them on the top ring and his hemi leaks 2 to 3%Sounds like it had a GOOD life!!! How do no-gap rings compensate for temp.? Been a long time since I was racing.
