Probably covered here before but......I have a 65 Dodge cable shift trans, I installed this in my car, it already has the short column shift cable in it. The longer floor shift cable is still hooked up in the car. I need to remove the short cable and hook up the floor cable, but inside the trans the ends look different???? Any clue???????

There is a barrel/adapter on the end of cable in trans. If you look at it it has a small spring type clip on it.If you release the spring you can remove the cable. Then you should be able to install cable from column. To release the spring you can push it to one side.If you need anymore info you can PM.
