I am building a '63 Dodge 330 for Street/Strip/Nostalgia Events, and was wondering if many of you use an additional transmission cooler ? I've never really noticed them while looking around shows or cruise nights. My build will be using a 440 stroked, with Max Wedge intake & exhaust systems, and a 727 P/B transmission. For cooling I had Glen Ray build a new stock style radiator, with the extra core for engine cooling. I like to drive my cars, so I may end up in traffic on a hot summer day, and not being built for the track specifically, it will be paying visits there also. I'd appreciate any feedback, or suggestions from all those who have some input...Thanks

My Satellite has an aftermarket aluminum cooler about 14x8 mounted in front of the radiator (not through radiator). 500" EDE motor w/Cope manual shift 727 & 10" TA converter. Had it out couple of times in 90-95* in stop & crawl cruise for over an hour. Trans temp stayed at about 195-200* never over 205.
