Help building a Street/Strip 727

That kind of power level is going to require some serious internal trans upgrades.
Updated sprag and front drum would be only the beginning. IMO

Especially if its going to spend a lot of time on slicks

I would have some serious talks with either Cope or A+A

Cope built a trans for a car I did about 10 years ago.
Best shifting 727 I've ever driven

DVW I would be interested to hear more about the turbo car.
Pretty mild. Stock 360 block and crank, Diamond boost freindly [email protected],cnc Eddy heads, .550 hyd roller, truck manifolds, M1 intake, blow thru carb, E85 no intercooler, 76 mm turbo, 4" full exhaust. 727 with a brake, 3.54 Dana, 275 M/T radials, Mencer shocks. Car was 3775 w/driver. Ran up to 22psi. Turbo could've made way more. Would've had to go to dual needle and seat bowls. We didn't think the stock block and crank would take much more. Ran a best of 9.55@142
