Update: Got the radiator back Friday and back in the car. I appreciate the great communication and quick repair turnaround. Shipped out on the 19th arrived repaired on the 29th!

Lucky quick catch. yes the trans cooler pressure is higher than cooling system pressure,until you turn the engine off!
Can't count how many leaking coolers I worked on in the late 70's. Won't hurt to drop the pan,even if just for peace of mind.
