Problem solved!
It was as simple - just moved the bench seat back one notched
but I’m just very rusty its Been 50yrs. Very late on the lights, and hit the rev limiter twice at 6,300
I have the video, but very embarrassed

Good for you getting at it. I went 35 years without racing. I used to run a stick and high comp, high maint motor back then. After I retired a few years ago, and had the time, I decided I better do it now, or it wasn't going to happen. Back at it with a pump gas, low maint motor, and TF. Having to learn about auto trans, and carb set up for the package. Ran yesterday.
