Trunk seal installation

Ok so since I won't be able to strip and re paint this year and the car will be aitring out side through winter I need to get a new trunk seal, so my question is how does it attach? With sealer? What kind? Thanks in advance.

3M trim/rubber adhesive (black tube). While you are at it get yourself a can of the 3M adhesive remover too. The stuff works best for removing old adhesive or any you smear in the wrong spot - and won't hurt the paint either.

The stuff is like snot and quite sticky. Its best to do a 18-24" strip and tape it down with masking tape and then move on to the next section. Another set of hands never hurts either.
