That will fit with your twisted mind :icon_madu:
i have a spicer in my garage thats twisted. and it was just behind a 440. the clutch got it. my guess is its Chinese with spicer stamped on it but....
I think i'm gonna saw the yoke in half, lengthways, and mount 1/2 in a frame in the bathroom and the other 1/2 in a frame over the shop door... maybe call the mancave "THE TWISTED YOKE" or "TWISTED YOKE SALOON"... something like that.. silly sh1t...
Put up a pic of it from all sides so i can see, spicer would be cast in not stamped
68. Wow. The real deal twisted. How did you find it? Routine inspection or some new noise/symptom? BTW great shot down the yoke. Might copy and blow that one up for the shop.
I was getting ready for my dana swap, went to get the drive shaft out and it wouldn't move forward or back. ended up beating it out with a hammer. luckfully it didn't seem to hurt the trans output shaft. i've had it out several times with no issues, but with the addition of a solid flat tappet and getting the tune dialed in its starting to hurt driveline parts. it is a stick, thats the biggest issue.
mine wouldn't slide forward but at least it would slide out. What clutch are you using? I smoked a McLoed and put in a Centerforce dual disk this go-round.. I'm getting a chatter when not under load. i understand the noise when disengaged thats the floater plate, but i also get a chatter when cruising just off peddle.
In my experience chatter can be the pressure plate not making even contact with the disc and flywheel. Somewhere here I put up a thread showing a checking setup I came up with using my mill. The checking and adjusting procedure worked like a charm and the result is no more chatter.
why didn't you go with AL 2059
why didn't you go with Aluminum
Oh. I'm not really concerned about the weight and I told them to use what they thought was appropriate.
