Thinking about changing my two barrel carburetor out for a four barrel. This for a 69 Charger 383 car. Any recommendations on “kits” that include carburetor and intake?

Wow, so what you’re saying is to get a manifold and a carb? I really did not even think of that. Enlightening….
Why does everything have to be a " kit" nowadays.. end up with a good manifold and a shitty carb.. or a good carb and a shitty manifold..
If there even is such a thing...

I don’t necessarily have to buy a kit. Was more looking for direction on a good intake or carburetor that would work well with a stock 383. Edlebrock is obviously a popular, commonly used brand but there’s lots of options. The Edelbrock 2886 intake is one I see quite a bit. Again just wanting some options.

A Victor is not the way you want to go. Sounds like it's fairly stock,, either a performer or a performer RPM

Two barrel now? I would look for a stock383, 4 bbl carb and manifold that someone took off to"upgrade" to something that performs the same as the stocker.

Correct, two barrel. Has the single pipe exhaust which I know I’ll have to deal with at some point, but not right now. Ok, that gives me multiple options to chase which is awesome. Of course I could just stop trying to improve every aspect of this car and leave the 2 barrel on but what fun would that be…

I had planned on going Edelbrock, but lots of choices and was looking a little direction. The car has a stock 383.
I recently put an EVS2 650 cfm on my 383 and like it. That's the "correct" size for the motor. You'll have to make lines because it uses the old Carter AVS fittings. Or just use rubber line. There's a thick base gasket heat shield you'll want as well. Autozone will honor Walmart's online price which is peanuts and save you serious dough.

I sent a message to Edelbrock, told them what I had, and what I wanted, and they gave me a list of things to buy. With part numbers.
