The Pentagon’s latest report on UFOs has revealed a close encounter involving a commercial airplane and a mysterious object near New York. The incident, described as a “near miss,” occurred over the Atlantic Ocean and has raised concerns about flight safety.

For the purposes of this article, we’re using the term “UFO,” but not implying there was a Martian in New York. But there are credible evidence of an incident involving a material or spiritual unidentified object flying through the air originating from a U.S. government facility, a foreign government’s facility, some other planet, beneath the ocean, another dimension or some ethereal realm.
The annual report from the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) identified 757 new cases of unidentified aerial phenomena between May 2023 and June 2024. Among these, the New York event was the only one flagged as a potential safety issue for aviation.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the crew of the commercial plane reported seeing a “cylindrical object” near their aircraft. While details such as the airline and exact timing remain undisclosed, the case is being actively investigated by the Pentagon
