Unbelievable: Sold car now he want's his money back

That was a Great Car, and I had serious thoughts of buying it for years now. The "new" owner should enjoy it, or put it up For Sale. I may even make an "offer" on it, if it comes to market ???

I would never take it back. On all my bill of sales it clearly states, as is and all sales are final. Everyone involved signs it. If he tries to push it, I have a guy I use that for a few bucks will send him a letter he doesn't want to receive. Screw him, look before you leap.

Can’t start it sounds like a red flag to me. Had to roll it off the trailer may be more truthful in that he had to wrench it back on the trailer.

Seriously.....he brought a friend and they inspected the car for an hour, even underneath? And after a week wants his money back?....car's his, period. Tell him to stop bothering you about it and that you've already alerted your local authorities to possible harassment.
Sounds like a total s**tbag to me. As the guys have said, no telling what he's taken from/done to the car in that time.

You want your money back? You're going to have to ask my wife!

Seriously dude, I'm not a buyer. In fact, I recently sold a car just like this.

attn. and have it inspected by your choice at his expense thoroughly adjust the price in your favor for the hassle

There are some real nut jobs out there. I'll bet he did some kind of damage to the motor, but still can't believe he would ask for his money back. No way I would refund a penny. He's not a local guy I hope.

thats crazy,I could never do that ask for my money back. SOLD

You say… “Fu*k off!” Then stick your tongue out. :p :)

Sounds like he watches too much DD Garage… that guy’ll make a 2 door out of a 2023 Charger Jailbreak. :D

Oh, after a week the new owner has decided he doesn't know how to drive a stick shift car!

I can only imagine the Welcome Wagon reception the new owner will receive if he joins up and introduces himself and the car.
:p

There is no way after a week of him owning it and now it will not run ??? Also after he did a in person inspection.
Your smart in the cash deal aspect of this.
Unless you gave him some kind of written and signed ( if your wife cuts you nuts off you can return it ) receipt I say your good.
You do not have to explain yourself . The less you say at this point the better.
No calls , no emails.

his mental instability is obvious, no one in their right mind would expect their money back......... therefore nothing good can come from entertaining any of his nonsense

no one deserves this kind of stressful bullshit......I'd keep my gun loaded if it wasn't already

Your clearly dealing with a nut-job here, so protect yourself. Tell him you will only consider his request if he puts it in writing detailing exactly every reason why he wants to return it. Now you have a record of his whacko claims which can be used in your defense if he tries to sue you. Then tell him no again. If he doesn't like the car, he can resell it himself.

HAH !! Here's my comment: "Are you the imbecile, your friend, or both of you, that inspect a car for an hour but can't detect a car that's been clipped? "
