Updated head light wiring , Anyone used this kit?

I am just curious what you get for $20?

Just my experience with cheap no name wiring kits:
I bought one of the cheap $100 Amazon 21 circuit wiring harness. It was not all that bad for the cost, but the wire was low strand count with PVC insulation, not the XLPE insulation, so I returned it.
I think the same type kit with XLPE (GXL/TXL) wire is at least twice the cost, and usually more? They list a Speed Way motors 21 circuit kit with XLPE wire for a bit over $200?
Not sure on the wire strand count or wire gauge sizes?

Some of the kit names say "XL" wire, but in the description, the "XL" is for Extra Long (not sure what the length difference is because they are not listed?)
Be careful of cheap crimp terminals too. A friend gave me some (I think) Harbor Freight crimp terminals and the metal is so thin that the crimp would not retain tight.

If you compare CRACKEDBACK's kit to the one from Octane Lightiing, the Octane kit uses heavier wire all the way around. I suspect their relays are a cheaper brand but for $115 bucks less I think you could replace the cheap relays and still be further ahead.

Are you sure on wire sizing? Because that is flat WRONG. I'm cool with a lot of things, making false statements about what I build and making incorrect comparisons to other products won't be accepted or tolerated. I'll stand my ground!

Last one of those octane kits, I had on my bench from a customer making the switch to mine, had 14ga wire. I use US made 12 ga wire for ALL power carrying circuits.

Seen plenty of stuff from china where the outside insulation is 14ga diameter and stranding is 16ga... 12ga insulation thickness 14 ga stranding. Normal procedure for many wiring providers from china. It's an illusion in many cases.

@gtx6970 Customers of mine that come forward without prodding are the best... Never took anything in here as a knock until the misinformation quoted above.

My bare components/wire alone cost more than those kits.

Pick your parts, pay your money

Mine arrived end of the week. Already in the car and works fine. I planned to upgrade relays either way .
I did notice the wire gauge like Crackedback mentioned. Insulation is thicker than wiring spools in like gauge I have on hand.
Worst case for me is I'll use it as a pattern and make my own .

Now with 3 cars , I have to look at costs versus time / effort on my end. Having been a tech for most of my life I can make my own not a problem , soldered and heat shrink every connection
