Any one know or is a agent for a cell phone company that has or will start a plan
so we can change the sim card and have data as well as phone and pay when needed and also have a nominal fee to reserve the phone number the rest of the year

I plan to be traveling for the month of April and I am down two or three times and would be nice to have the same number

Thanks in advance Bruce

You'll need a long string.

When you get down this side of the border, stop in a store and buy a "TracFone" brand of pre-paid cell phone, they cost about $15-$20. They do NOT do pics and they are NOT a "smart phone" in any sense of the word. You have to buy a card to put minutes on them, and the cards are available nation-wide at most all gas stations and convenience stores. They do cover all of the USA with no roaming charges and they do send and receive texts. AND.....they have no GPS features so big brother can't keep tabs on you when you're here.

That is the problem I have used the prepaid phones but they do not have data to search for fuel prices and locations as I take on 50 or 60 gallons at a time

To get data they want you to have a $50.00 dollar per month plan
