This is a programmable 6. There are no dials. Laptop to make changes.

Have you tried different timing or taking some timing out above 5500? The different rev limiters are all adjustable as you know,set them at 8k and they shouldn't effect you. I also have the the 6al-2 programmable with boost retard.

Even when I set the limiter to 7000 it would come in at 6200-6300 setting it to 7300 made no change either (That’s why I thought the valves were floating) limit set all the way up (According to MSD) = OFF and takes the limiter out all together.

I haven’t really moved the timing around much due to earlier problems but hoping to dial it in some now.
