We had morning commitments and could not get there until about 10:30 or so. We had never been to Willow Springs so that was a lot of the fun. Turns out I'm only 45 minutes away. Not sure if I missed other races or not since we were later, but here are a few pics. I really only took pics of the Daytona. I had to get back to work but decided the go around the track service road before we left and saw the cars out on the track! So I stopped and took a few more pics. The only Mopar on the track at that time was the Daytona and a newer Challenger. They were going against an older Mustang, a few newer Vettes, and some type of Nissan 300 (I think). There was even a newer Caddy. Made me happy when the Daytona passed the Mustang.

The regulars are here at the hotel, plus a few that I don’t know.

The wife and I drive down today. I got 13.2 mpg on one tank going 75-80. A personal best.

Good times. No mechanical troubles except for a sloppy throttle return spring.
Oh yeah... the wind noise sometimes is more than the sweet exhaust sounds....those rain gutters and wing windows are likely to blame.
