Great day so far.
Swap meet was fun, of course. I am still looking for the elusive ash tray for my “Jigsaw” project. At least I saw how the 68-69 models are different than the 1970 model. I did get a few things. 67 Dart taillight lenses that are seasoned but still useable. I got some clips, axle seals, LCA bumpstops abd a few other things. The survivor tent was great. The 68 Hemi Dart and Barracuda display was cool. I missed seeing Bob Tarozzi... maybe he was getting lunch?
There were more 68-70 Chargers here than usual. Fewer Imperials and classic trucks. I like seeing all of these though. A classic station wagon may not be exciting but they do bring back memories of youth.
I saw lots of great car guys I haven’t seen in awhile and nobody tried to punch me in the face.
I don’t need but I wouldn’t mind having a spare grille.
One year only, you all know what that is like. I drove the car so transporting either of these without damage would be difficult.
I had a blast. Everyone was nice and wanted to talk. My wife liked the swap meet and found a few treasures. We found some shade in front of the car and people watched. I didn’t see any other cars like mine but there were so many nice cars to look at. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to put this show on. Ya’ll rock.
