These are paint masking templates for R/T emblems and they are vintage pieces that came out of a building that the emblems used to be made in, here in Michigan. Really interesting and I am stoked to have them. Haven't you always wondered how they painted the emblems?.

Way cool, bud! It's the neat **** like that piece that a lot of folks(except we Mopar owners) would not give a second glance to. WE have an appreciation of the obscure things in our cars' history. I have some original documentation for the 1964 Hemi cars, and some letters from the NHRA to their Divisional Tech Directors on classification of certain '64 and '64 cars. Need to scan them and post them here;you cats would appreciate them.

Keep hunting for and saving this stuff! Please!

Matt;can you imagine the stuff that's still out there just in the Detroit and southeastern MI area waiting to be discovered? Boggles the mind...

That is beyond cool!! What else do you have?? I'd frame them for display! As a matter of fact I think they would look much better in my shop

No worries, I'll keep hunting and posting!. There has got to be some way kool stuff left to be found in this region and imagine all of the stuff that has been tossed in dumpsters over the years. Old buildings getting gutted and demo'd. I understand that when they tore down the Dodge main plant that there was a `68 Charger body in white in some upstairs room where it was assembled like a ship in a bottle and that is where it stayed...
You have to post up that `64 info.

These templates are way kool and will definitely always have a place in my office.

There are little pockets of Mopar appreciation outside of the Metro area;a town north of me has been a haven of Mopar activity for a few decades thanks to a long-time dealer up there. Add to that the number of dragstrips that used to exist(and some still do) in central and southern Michigan and the potential for more interesting stuff is overwhelming. Interestingly,a '65 A990(Dodge,I think) car was sold to a gentleman in the Flint area;I wonder where that is? Looks like a little detective work may be in order...

Now,don't the rest of you guys get the idea that you can just come here and act like "American Pickers" and snatch our stuff! Matt,Scott, myself and a few others plan on acting like the Michigan Border Patrol and keeping you hooligans at bay:icon_axe::icon_axe::icon_axe:! Go pickin' in your own states.

Partially because I am obsessed with these cars and when you spend as much time seeking out cars and parts as I do, you meet great people who have kool stuff and are willing to sell/give you that stuff.
