VFN hood scoop?

I'm trying to install the scoop on my 66 Charger, It's the 3" high early Plymouth style. If any one has installed one of these, could you let me know what fasteners you used? I have already drilled my holes 1/4" and they line up, But I'm having a hell of a time getting bolts in. Thanks, Terry

Mine came with studs, the ends were different thread. The end that screwed into the scoop was a screw type thread.

Mine has a hole in an angled bracket formed into the fiberglass. The scoop is on the car, But I'll try to get a picture of a front bracket and post tomorrow. Thanks all
