This just got posted in my Mopar club's newsletter.

"Just a heads up in case any of your members are planning to attend the 2009 MoPar Nation-als at Columbus, Oh (east of Columbus on old Rt. 40 at Na-tional Trails Raceway). A lot of fans venture into the city of Heath, Oh. to motels & restaurants & during the evenings they do their traditional "burn-outs" & cruise up & down Rt. 79, (commonly re-ferred to as "the strip") in Heath till late in the night and the local folk throughly enjoy it as they line both sides of the "strip" to watch. Well, this year there's a surprise waiting. The city has installed 10 Red light & Speed cameras. The speed limit is 35 (you get 2 mph) & at 38 you just bought yourself a $100 tkt. & the same for running a red light. The 1st Mo., June, (a grace period) they recorded 1000 violations, "they say". July 1st they started mailing out citations. I would strongly urge you to warn your club members or any other club to consider staying in Reynoldsburg or Columbus, Oh during the Nationals. "THE FUN IS OVER". It's all about money now. To find out more: type in , Traffic Cameras Heath, Oh., then click on, OH-Heath begins traffic-camera enforce-ment no more warnings. Just a MoPar fan from Heath/Newark, Oh"

I did the search. Ten cameras in action, grace period ended July 1.

Think I'd find someone at a swap meet making "novelty" license plates for your state, and I'd have one made and put that on the car. If you don't get totally stupid with it, the cops won't know the difference by looking at it. And since it's a "novelty" they won't be able to pull an address.

just a thought

Detectors

Hopefully they do not install smoke detectors....that would suck!!! LOL
