I agree with Budnicks, it was a rookie mistake, I would be pretty PO'd if I was in contention to win the championship and then get taken out. I'd want my alone time too.
The points races in this seasons Top Fuel and Funny Car classes were great. Every round there was a new leader and the champ wasn't decided on until the semi-final round. Pro Stock is my favorite class but with Jason Line being crowned so early it really didn't seem like the finals, and the TV coverage of Pro Stock was poor because of it. As a side note it was kind of cool to see Jason as the champ, because he is originally from Minnesota. Maybe someday he'll drive a Mopar!

I agree that Jason is good, but us Mopar Diehards are going to be cheering for Jeg Coughlin Jr. next year and I do consider him great! I am very happy that he will be driving a Mopar sponsoned Pro Stock Car next season!!! Look out Summit panty-acks because the Jegs Mopar is coming!!!

At least he didn't go and start throwing things around breaking chit....or crashing someone's race car. How would you like to have your championship stomped into the dirt because of some whiny *** 26 year old got mad and stuck your race car into the wall? I'd be ready to tear his head off!

I was at this years Pomona, Sunday 13 Nov when he won. He is a CLASS ACT! Defeat sucks and if you remember, Nov 2010 it was Bob Tasca III who kncked him out last year opening the door for
John (I need to retire now) Force. (I went to high school w/ Bob Tasca II) Anyway, Give him a break, Matt Hagen is a humble person, that is why he is in that car. Heck, I throw things around the house when the Red Sox lose a game or 2!
