Water pumps for a 383

Try ebay or craigslist for "22 Mopar shroud". You should get some returns. You might be able to find a media blasted-period correct one and spray paint it black for less than $100. I know $175 sounds painful but I think it's worth it to maintain the stock look.

I think Summit sells generic shrouds that you can cut to fit too (for the diameter of your engine fan). Will run you maybe $50. I took this route because I have an aftermarket radiator. It's functional.

.....I guess my next question should be, does anyone know the correct part number? I want to as correct as possible here so, I have a 1969 Dodge Superbee 383 non a/c car. The radiator upper and lower hoses are on the driver side.

.....ok, so I went for a Yearone unit with a bracket. It's going to run me about $250 all in. No too bad. I like their stuff and they stand by it.

Looking on the FlowKooler site their pumps come with 16 impellers now?? Better or worse?

That's about 10 more than you need !!

Either pump should be fine,as long as its not cavitating.

Funny thing about waterpumps....

Fried of mine ownes a 65 Coronet with a 440 cui HP engine.... his waterpump broke...was a 6 blade aluminium pump ...now he runs a 8 blade pump from autozone... his pulley ratio is 0.94 by 1.00 so normaly the new set up shouldn´t work..... but : No problems...cool running engine with both typ of waterpump.

Team,

I just got my radiator shroud and bracket, but now cant figure out how to mount it. In essence, my bracket came with the bolts and these really nice nut-clips but how the hell do you get them in the radiator?
