We bought another Grand Am.

The middle 70s , The dark years.
Just a handful of body styles that had some decent lines.
For 1975 that was a good body style.

Ponchos are cool, but isn't this a MOPAR site??? Just sayin' is all...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

You mean like the golf thread, the what did you do other than work on your mopar thread, the put your feet up thread, the random picture thread, the black friday where will you be thread, etc.? Need I go on? It turns out a bunch of members have other interests and they like talking about them here. I like hearing about them.

You could get the GA and the 73 GTO with a 4-speed if you got the 400 ci but you couldn't get it with the 455. The black GA is on the back burner because I need the money from the 71 Charger and probably the 70 Coronet to finish it. I need to get it done so Mom can drive it a little before she passes. She's 93 but in good health. I think this is the order. 71 Charger 500, then the 69 Corvette, then the Coronet, then the Grand Am. The 69 Charger SE needs paint but it can wait. The 71 is getting some paint today. The whole car has been repainted Hemi Orange but there were a couple of parts that got replaced after the paint job.

I know I'm not the only one with some non-Mopar cars in addition to the Mopars. Yes the GA was the coolest of the collonades but this one is very sentimental. As I've said before I like cars that fly under the radar. This will be the only GA at any local show.

Is the the silver one patina or is it past that stage? If it runs like I think it will it will be cool. Mom's new 73 Grand Am would just squat and smoke the tires until you let off. No power braking. It would chirp the tires when the auto hit second.

Got it Chief. Your internet, your rules.

And I'll assume calling me
Francis is an endearment and not an insult.
No response necessary.

The lighten up Francis is an insult used in the movie Stripes with Bill Murray. It is not an endearment.

Bryce started cleaning the 75 GA. A sticker for an oil change was 2002, Supposedly the motor got hot. Lets hope for the small stuff and not a cracked block.
