Weird things people find attractive.

"You Know I Can't Lay Off The Tall Ones!"

Johner took an instant liking to Ripley after watching her shooting hoops in the gymnasium. For all his machismo and aggressive bravado, Johner seemed to enjoy a challenge, and Ripley's imposing stature and surprisingly good game seemed to clinch the deal for him.

The OP has a '70 Coronet and asks "Weird things that people find attractive"? That's rich! :poke:

I like them too. It's a long story.:)

I find wit and intellect incredibly sexy in women. I guess that makes me a little weird, considering what people seem to find attractive these days. I always got along way better with educated women then half wits, and for some bizarre reason educated, smart women were the ones usually attracted to me.

I once dated a stunningly sexy Professor of Anthropology.

I thought it weird she found me attractive. Until she told me, I was the closest example of The Missing Link she had the opportunity to study.

As an attorney, I encountered many highly intelligent women who were also extremely attractive. My wife found it interesting how easily I connected with them when she was doing the conference circuit with me. But she also pointed out how she was reassured by the fact I understood their power to control, and was much happier with my long term mate, who was the subject of it, rather than the instigator.

Although I don't know what men find this attractive, but someone must, because it's such a phenomenon these days...but the eyebrows on some girls these days are gag-worthy. Unless you have a unibrow, leave them be, maybe just feather in a bit of color, but stop it with the Sharpie markers and unnatural shapes, already!

Seems like the majority of highly intelligent women that I met were major control freaks and were more into changing me into someone else...

That blonde is quite pretty. The only dude that wouldn’t find her attractive is the type of dude that likes other dudes.
She looks like she's 16 and I got my fill of 'young' girls 50 years ago.

I would have found her hot in 1969. But not today, two generations removed doesn't do it for me. I'd probably like her grandmother, if she was in good shape. I referred earlier to the girl's similarity to Playboy's centerfolds of the late 60s. To me, they were just as hot when they were in their 50s and beyond, and still posing. More so than the young ones who followed later. Pretty much the same deal as my GTX versus the newer stuff.

I am attracted to the appearance of a young woman but the mind of a smart, interesting, funny and sarcastic woman that only gets that way with age.
If I were single at the age that I am, whether I could get one or not, I'd love to have a woman that looks like these:

I love a fit and toned woman with some hips.

THAT is some funny ****.
That front end styling seems to be how many Mopars were in the years prior, the early 60s for example. It almost required you to be a dedicated Mopar guy to appreciate it.
I love that they are Mopars but some styling of them in the early 60s just turned me off. The same era of Chevrolets were absolutely stunning in comparison. The '59/60 cars then the bubble top Chevys were epic!

The majority of really good looking women that I met back years ago usually acted like they were God's gift to man or were plain ditzy and can only imagine how they act today. Plus go out somewhere and they are totally into their cell phones. Some years back I went to lunch with this woman that was into her cell phone so much that we couldn't even have a decent conversation. So after we got done eating, I excused myself to go to the rest room and from there I left. Paid for my meal and don't care what she did with hers.

The outer packaging of the three women above is often matched with a personality that is exactly opposite of what I like.
It has been said that the good looking women often have no personality because they never had to develop one. They led easier lives because of their beauty. The "Ugly ducklings" were the ones that grew up looking less than desirable so they had to be smart, interesting and/or funny to be noticed. Later, they developed physically to look much better all the while they still had the mind and personalities of the ugly duckling.
THAT is a winning combination....A good looking woman that isn't stuck on herself while still being sweet and fun to be with.

I've been married to one for 47 years. The picture is from 1969, the year things in her life went totally south. She went from looking like Barbie to anorexia, to morbid obesity in 12 months. Got it together, became a knockout again, but never completely got through it. During my corporate days, my colleagues always marveled that a toad like me could have landed her. She's never been able to completely shake the image of her low point, never had a trace of egotism during our time together. My daughter is the opposite, she was always extremely attractive, and let everyone know it.
