When I weld on the car, I go thru a mental checklist before I fire it up.
1) Battery disconnected?
2) Got argon?
3) Got surfaces cleaned?
4) Everything hooked up correctly?
5) Good ground?
6) Fire extinguisher ready?
7) Long pants?
8) Helmet?
New item to add to checklist:
9) Do pants have hole where the boys are? If yes, change them, if not, proceed with welding.
Yes boys and girls, when welding on your car, no matter what position you are in, a spark will fly off, and find it’s way in the hole in your pants where the boys are. The boys don’t like being burned.
Neither does my head as it hits the inner wheelhouse as I start yelling..
