Well, another bad weekend.

glad to hear your on that long road of recovering . i've been working on my basement walls , now there lifted and the house is just about ready for placement again . i'm getting ready to set my re bar stock grid in and tie it in to the foundation walls and the floor thats still in great shape . thought i'd post some pics for you , i'd texted you some in the passed . now i've got them here in my pic file .

the dig goes deep for the new footing is tobe three feet wide

added some ties across the cracks to pull them together and as i continue to jack them up and pull the one back in place

placed ties on all the cracks and tighten them up as i lift these walls

it's a lot like straightening a frame ........ I love that stuff!

had to switch up my pulling type arrangement turnbuckle kept breaking the hooks straight , and i changed up to two studs on the , started to break them as well . there all 1/2 hilti studs

still lifting and pulling it all together , and starting that dig under and on the other side of the foundation walls , found some roots growing right under the foundation wall . cut them out .

this has been a long job , but i'm seeing some light at the end of the tunnel

pulling jacks out for more digging room . this has been a giant process in the removal and lifting , oh ya i made a dirt digging tool much like a post hole digger for my drill , what a wild child it is , lol

okay now i've got a three foot wide by two foot tall footing dug , starting to pull the house together so i can set it on the foundation basement walls , so i can fit the rebar and pour my footing and finish the basement floor . i've been doing this job since jan 2024 when i started moving everything out of the way so i could get the fix on .

man i'm 68 turning 69 in oct and this is a bit more hand work than i should be doing , thank you guys , this has been an eye opening job for sure , can't wait to get back on my cars . i'm trying to get this job done without involving the city permit process , so for so good .
