Well that tears it .

If I had it to do all over again I would just bite the bullet and order a ALUMINUM 4 BOLT BLOCK FROM INDY and never look back. Their aluminum block is available everyday to purchase....just write the big check. lol...
From what has been reported the 4 bolt IRON blocks just are not available anymore.
I have a good friend who is currently building a high horsepower motor and he started with an INDY ALUMINUM BLOCK.
On INDY'S website they still list their race motors with the aftermarket STEEL 4 bolt (World ?) block but I don't know if they really have them anymore. If they do they must have stashed a bunch of them when they were available.
Mike , i would buy the KB wedge block , aluminium , before a Indy . BUT it would cost about $10000.00 aussie pesos landed . Massive overkill for mg needs
I am just not convinced these aluminium blocks are going to be happy doing 6-10000 street miles per year and race every month .
Oh well
I put the TF270 heads , Victor and dominator on my 440 rb to race today , [email protected]
Not bad for a short motor i built in 2008 with a .520 nett lift solid flat tappet cam

Maybe Doug .
Have to get it to sixty better with the 30" tyre . Will sixty mid high 1.40s with 28" . 1.51-1.549 on 30"s .
Even with the 505 it far preferred the 28's for sheer acceleration and ET . But loves the 30" for MPH and better traction .
DA was 1000-1200 all day
I am on the 2 step @ 4000RPM , though the converter flashes close to 5800
