Hi Everyone,
So very sorry for the 2 day late update but I’m back. I was still loopy, super tired, weak, and having alot of tests done on Monday. Anyways the transplant was a success although the doctors thought there was one complication because they did a post operation kidney ultrasound but they thought they did not see a certain artery, so they went back in to look around but I was fine. I just want to thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and heart warming comments. They are really appreciated. I am so blessed to call all of you my other family, we really do have some great folks on here. I had no idea that a couple more of you went through the same thing I did, I thought it was only @6PKRTSE. I gotta say the good lord was with me threw all of this on Friday and was definitely looking out for me, God is great and its amazing what he can do for a guy like me. I do have an update for everyone though, I unfortunately am still in the hospital on day 5 today though but I do plan to get released tomorrow sometime. I thought I was going to get released yesterday but the doctors wanted to do an echocardiogram ultrasound test because I had a higher heart rate than normal and my chest hurt a little bit when I coughed up my phlegm. So they did that test today, and good news is that the test came back with a positive result. My numbers are all over the place but are slowly getting better, but the doctors are calling them “stable”. What they call my creatinine and what they call my gfr or kidney function are in my opinion the best they ever been in the past 5 years or maybe more. My gfr when I was on dialysis it was 8 and now with my new kidney the last time I checked it was 66. I will update you all hopefully tomorrow or the next day when I am finally actually home.
Anyways, thank you all again for your
thoughts and prayers.
