What a bad day

My day started out real good I sold something that will pay for my one cars 60k maintenance and my taxes and some extra cash then saw my doctor and was good ...Then went to help the Dog work on his car ......at about 4:25 my time my wife send me a text "who drove into the front of our house"? I said what ....she calls and says yea someone drove into the front of the house its smashed up I said u cant be serious and hurried home from the dogs to find this

I think I would trade you right now... I worked all day yesterday and took an extra job last night for some OT thinking I would be done by midnight... instead we finished at 5 a.m. so after an hour and a half drive home I walked up to my door and noticed my worklight was on in my shop.... so I walked down to turn it off and as my foot got off the bottom stair.... squish... squish.. squish... My carpet is SOAKED!! Looks like too much water pooled and came through so this is my first downtime all morning (still haven't slept this is my "break") after renting a carpet fan and wet vac and trying to get things dry

They came straight down from across the street from my house and down into my yard and into the front of my house .....

I just noticed one of my car trailers was hit. I had it parked along the driveway but a good 2 feet off to the side and I noticed the fender is smashed. We had oil delivered and UPS/FedX deliveries this week. I guess they were too busy to man up and tell me. And my driveway is 12' wide and paved so it's not like it was a tight squeeze. Sucks. I hope the house works out ok. The flood sucks too.

The day this happened it was 50 degrees and I was actually at the dogs house helping him rebuild the front end on his javelin ....my wife came home and sent me a text saying Who drive into the front of our house? I just said what and came home ....my neighbor across the street did it cause ...The battery was dead in her car so she went to push it down the driveway to get a jump and lost control of it

I would think either her homeowners or probably her car insurance, one or the other should cover the expenses/damages... good luck, sucks either way

She left a letter.....I had to cops come and take a report, I couldn't-didn't want to talk to her cause nothing nice was going to come from my mouth

Smart move.

May not make for the best neighbourly relations but you need to cover your A$$ to make sure it gets properly taken care of.

Heres the exact timeline I left my house to go to the Dawgs at 12:45 my wifes gets home from work at 4:25 so sometime inbetween then the neighbor did this ....My wife got home and sent me a text then called and I immediately left and came home....called the cops and freaked out
