What are your Mopar goals for 2025?

For my '70 Charger, only focusing on short-term goals:

1. Finish front-end; install offset UCA bushings and bump stops.
2. Finish front brakes; install new rotors & bearings, pads, caliper pins.
3. Get car running for the first time in over a decade.
4. Install new carpets and sound deadener.
5. Replace rusty front fender rear splash shields.

If I can get all that done, I'll be happy.

looks nice there, its snowing here. 4 more months of salt prison
Only 4? While I have driven my Barracuda well into December some years that is pretty rare even with this "climate change" BS. Usually don`t drive the classics from mid November to mid April so 4 1/2 - 5 months or some years even longer. But when the time comes - :p

Would like to get the 727 transmission resealed in 64 fury HT 318 poly was just rebuilt.
Sell my 64 fury wagon
Start working on my new project a 66 Satelitte and be able to drive it some.
My list might be cut very short now that I was diagnosed with a rare Autoimmune disease. I will have to see how this will all play out.

I've got so many things to fix/upgrade on the cars, I don't know if they'll all be done in 2025.
Dart:
- Pull 360 Magnum crate engine, install SCAT stroker kit, TF heads, new cam, intake, etc. etc.
- Update suspension with 1.03" T-bars, tubular UCAs, adjustable strut rods, Bilstein shocks. Already bought the parts from PST
Coronet:
- Fix leaky p/s pump (2nd time)
- Convert auto steering column to manual (installed the TKX last year)
- Detail engine compartment

Drive one of the cars to Spring Fling this year.

I'm not sure. But one of the goals is to get the 426 hemi to the machine shop and get it assembled and in tge car. That's a pipe dream with all the other crap I have to do.
Have to pull the engine and trans out of the 66 500 to rebuild both as there is too much trans leakage and engine is making a distgusting noise now as well. I want to drive it to carlisle, so we'll see. My off brand race car is eating most of my time and money currently but there is light at the end of the tunnel there. Need to finish my shop's interior walls so I can set up my porting bench and other equipment so I can port the heads and intakes I have lined up. And on and on.

Here are my goals/plans/intentions....

Roller cam for this:

000 E.JPG

I want the peace of mind I'd get from knowing the risk of cam failure is reduced greatly. I've lost 3 cams over the last 18 years and I'm tired of it.
I want to get THIS car running:

IMG_9155.JPG

This car will stay looking like you see here: FF1 Green with hubcaps. Dents and scrapes too.
I have a 1990 roller 360 that I might use. I'll have dual exhaust and manifolds but with reasonably quiet mufflers to make for easier cruising. Last month I bought an A-500 4 speed automatic overdrive for it. It already has 11" front disc brakes and an 8 1/4" axle with unknown gears. I want to use a 3.55 gear so if it is a 2.45 to 3.21, I'll use an 8 3/4" unit.
The nephew is interested in cars now so we are either going to bring this turd back from the dead....

...OR finish this one for him.

 on the roller cam, I'm building a 340, thinking of going with hughes bushed roller setup, needle bearing scare me.

My Mopar plans? Sell both of my A bodies and look seriously for a 64 Polara or 440. Well, in theory anyway.

Yep, if we get lucky and they can do a fine grade on the 865 tons of B gravel that I put down in 1996 and pave... 100 grand. If it needs to be excavated, filled and packed I'll be going back to work.. $250K.
We just top coat paved (1-1/2”) over a previous base paving (4”). The top coat was 100K for 55,000 sf. The cost was about 2x/cy of the base paving 4 years ago.

I’m still struggling to get my head around the reality of today’s prices.

Don’t be scared of needle bearing lifters. Be scared of cheap lifters. It’s generally a reflection of price.

I've heard good stuff about hughes products, they offer bushed roller lifters, heard some issues with comp, If I'm gonna go with roller and spend the coin, I want a reliable product, not worried about spending a little more for quality, what's your thoughts on a good product in today's world?

1) Get the Hemi in to a shop, gone through, dynoed, and ready to install.
2) Get started on the '65, so it'll be ready for the hemi.
3) Install the intake & carb, that's been sitting for years, on the Challenger.
4) Get my '75 B200 out, tune it up, and Drive It.
I'll be lucky to get a couple done !!!

Lots to do KD!

I'm probably going all Hughes components on the 360 stroker build. They have everything needed for the build under one roof, and you're talking to only Mopar techs.
I have Hughes' cam and complete valvetrain in the Coronet's 440. Its a hyd FT setup and has been trouble free for the 8+ years it's been on the road.

thanks, that's good reassurance.

Get a 71 Charger R/T on the road which is now on a rotisserie. :praying:
I got four of them in the works, the black one is a driver, the grey one is getting blocked for paint the brown is being brought back from a rolling carcus, and the yellow one is awaiting my attention.

#1 Replace tires with 1" taller & 1" narrower (real 33"x10) on my 99 Dakota SLT 4x4
I have 25 years on the old Open Country (Toyo) 32"x11.5, been great tires
42K+ Miles (truck has 62k) STILL LOTS OF TREAD,
if I'm changing, want to go taller & do new wheels too
but the casings are still 25 y/o, that scares me a bit...
Even if it's been parked out of the weather/enclosed garage for most all it's existence
no sign of cracks or anything bad
then a full service, belt & tensioner, all oils/fluids/gaskets it takes
or liquids, filters, axles, engine & trans
might even do the 3.92:1 gears in front & rear too, we'll see after the tires

#1a my car's/RRs tires are almost 20 years old casing now too,
but damn near new 'tread wise' :BangHead:
not sure I'll do that this year either

#2 get around to doing brakes on my 68 RR, replace the MC (4w disc) & prop valve
hard lines, & flex/SS teflon lines & go to rear discs too, SSBC 11" Stainless Steel Brakes

'some isn't MoPar specific, but need to do or buy for the cars/trucks'

#3 need a new floor jack my 35 y/o Craftsman is giving up the ghost
doesn't really jack high enough 20"s without blocks etc.
I'll probably rebuild/reseal it, keep it for a spare
Buy a new floor jack that will go 24" rise
& buy an adj. spreader bar for the new jack too, for my trucks

#4 I need a new stand up-right 30 gal tank/2+hp 2 stage, oiled,
110/220 vlt Campbel Hausfeld compressor too
(not a lot of room about the biggest I can use, fit in a tighter spot
I have too many tools [not as problem normally] not enough room in a 20'x20' garage
)
my almost 40 y/o job site pancake style compressor, doesn't cut it anymore
& I need a new 1/2'' impact too, of course the old one is dying too

#5 Need to get a 4 post lift, 72"-74" lift, to use & to save my knees & back
cold concrete doesn't cut it, I'm getting too old for that ****
& I have 10' 10" ceiling in my attached garage, (have to redo how my door it lifted)
I should be able to lift the car high enough & park my Dakota under it :praying:
give me some precious room on the sides, lots of tools & shelves & work bench
all takes up the sides

'related'
#6 maybe do a different torque converter for the RR, like 9.5" or 10" 3,500+ stall
& more rear gears 3.90:1+ &/or do a Gear Venders OD/UD
or convert to 5-6 speed manual, clutch, peddle & can, & all that **** it takes,
that's a lot more $$$

I'll maybe do 2-3 maybe 4 of them, if I'm lucky
all 6 are (or 8 in total) not in the cards right now, not just about cars...
There's lots of stuff to do on the house too, (eats into my available car funds, now retired)
#6a Going to do 5 new front windows & faux rock, in a ledgestone style,
12,000+ sq ft of it, it's big $$$...
Get a lil' better insulation value & around the front deck, for esthetics,
on the house on the front & (direct sun & cold) SE side insulated from the weather,
I don't have to paint it either ++ (including the ext. of the garage, ground to roof)
kill 2 birds with one stone, stay warmer in winter & cooler in summer...
PG&E is freaken' $$ nuts here... anything to save long term...

'shop stuff'
#6b concrete in the back carport & some driveway ramp too, $$ money
