What did you do to your Mopar today?

Painted the new brake drums for the wagon with red ceramic.

Picked up the drums for the step-side after having them turned.

Guess I'll have a brake party this weekend.

Then I get to tune the 750 I put on the step-side (or rebuild it).

Drove the WO car on Saturday, for the N. Gratiot Cruise. The weather cooperated this year.:sunny:

Got my step-side rear brakes done and drove it with the 750 carb.

Didn't have time to tune other than choke idle and reg idle speed.

Not terrible. Got it to idle at 750 hot. Better vacuum and much less surging at part throttle cruise.

Pulls better under part throttle load as well. Methinks the $70 was a good investment.

Brakes still need pumped up, though. Think I might have a rubber hose bulging.

Didn't get time to work on wagon.

Did organize all my collected drum brake parts, though. That was fun!

Where do I get a shirt like that? I'm fixing up a 71 Satellite and I've looked around for a decent 71-72 Runner shirt with no luck.

Oh and I fiddled with the fuse box and took the bolts off the front bench seat. It has 2 broken springs under the driver.

Cleaned a 489 case and ordered a set of clutches for the suregrip and 3.55 gears and bearings. Would like to cruise down the freeway this year

Finally got some music going in the charger! I bought it with an empty hole, no radio at all.. Older pioneer cd detachable face no resides. Not that I didn't like just the sound of the engine, I do, but needed to have the option..just saying!

Fan shroud, 5 blade MP fan, tied down the battery, seat belts, fixed driver side mirror. Not much, but I am waiting for brake parts for my 65 Belvedere.

Busy 2 days...
Yesterday,,replaced hood emblem, GTX fender emblem, Taillight bezels and lenses,
Today primed and painted front and rear bumper brackets...still waiting for my bumpers to come back from re chrome

Put the 64 on the rotisserie after getting it back from blasting, removed the suspension and about 100 lbs of sand, and epoxy primed all bare metal of the car.

Repainted my grill and grill surround trim. Cannot get Argent Silver here in Finland..No one will ship it in quantity from the US. But a friend of a mate of mine works for Spies Hecker, and he color matched it pretty well. I only wanted to refresh the grill for my last major show of the year this weekend. So he did me up 2 spraypack cans. The type with the hardener vial that you puncture from the base. Only needed 1 can. Turned out acceptable.

I am picky so I am going to redo it this winter. But will take the complete surround off the car this next time and use proper HVLP guns.

Yanked the rear springs and axle from my 65 Belvedere. Getting new Heavy Duty Mopar springs, new brakes, 3.55 Sure-Grip. Finally going to get all right hand thread wheel studs.
