What did you do to your Mopar today?

Installed a new bottom radiator hose because the original crapped out. Flushed out the entire cooling system while I was at it and added fresh antifreeze/water.

After a vicious test run, it's cool as a cucumber. Getting a new air filter tomorrow.

Every time I see this thread and haven't done anything. Feel like somebody has a voodoo doll of me and is sticking pins in it. Well today finished adjusting brakes on Satellite an put it on the ground. Cleaned up and re organized area around my Dodge. Been making mental excuses not to work on Satellite so I didn't have to work on Dodge. Trans pull time to replace front seal. Who ever has that voodoo doll keep it handy, please.

Yes...it's called a WOF - Warrant of Fitness. Without it, you cannot legally drive the vehicle on a public road. Also this is required before you can get a Registration Label - which makes a car legal to drive on the road - Registration is renewed anything up to every 12 months. Luckily we have a discount for cars once they turn 40 yo. Most are about $50 per year now, compared to the likes of my Toyota van which is closer to $200 per year.
The WOF costs around $50 each 6 months, (or each year until a vehicle is 6 years old) - so they are saying the vehicle is safe until it is 6 years old.

Connecticut is talking antique cars to 30 years old ok with me. Also doubling property tax allowed on antique cars, I don't like it but it could be worse! If you register your car as a regular passenger car and they look what it's worth in some book they use. Last time I registered my Satellite as a passenger car value $3,000 and was paying $160 in property tax. In a city near by they had a large mill rate increase and some guys were complaining to city hall. City hall told them to bring their cars to have them looked at to re-assess their value. Some of those did it with there restored cars, mistake a big mistake. A $3000 assessment valve turned into a $20,000 value and a huuge tax bill. Oop's.

Property taxes with the added value of cars you own included??? WTF....I hope our idiots in charge don't get wind of that scam. The local Govt is already looking for ways to raise funds to pay for 'pie in the sky' infrastructure.

In Connecticut they tax land/houses with one bill. You get a separate bill for cars, one bill or two bills you still pay. In our state you only need to inspect your if buy it and it's 10 years old or bought it out of state. You only have to have it inspected once, except emissions every 2 years after car is 4 or 6 years old. If your car is 20years old no emission testing. There are 50 states and they're are all different.

They value on my car was X amount of dollars when I got it registered. I said no way because I paid X amount for it.

An affidavit signed and notarized by the previous owner, a sheriff inspection and boom done. No emissions or any lofty crap to deal with in Kentucky.

Polished with rubbing compound, polished with polishing compound, the put a coat cleaner wax on top of that. Man she shines! Not bad for a 20 year old paint job! Polished the wheels. Detailed the interior. Installed my new grill and grill center after polishing and painting. Painted head light trim and polished. Ready to take her out tomorrow!
