What did you do to your Mopar today?

Had to do a wash and polish today.....sad times. My buddy @mowpar lost his Dad nearly 2 weeks ago. Having a car display outside the Memorial service at the local Cossie Club as a tribute. Might be some beers and some skids involved. ..:)

Finally got my AC/Heater box back together today. I hope I don't have any leaks, because I never want to take this thing out again. Hopefully tomorrow I can get it installed.

Been a busy boy, bought high beam head light bezels, door handles, a pair of mirrors, a 55" 8 3/4 w/a drain plug and a support truss installed very nicely, a beautiful clean 742 pot, and finally got the title for my car:thumbsup:

One back on the ground. One up in the air. Front trans seal to change and a few other thing while I'm doing that.

The paint was cracked on my 69 trunk finish panel. So, I stripped the paint off using some orange paint stripper from Lowes; it worked very well and didn't hurt the anodized finish. However, I found one small dent that some knuckle head had filled in with bondo instead of taking the dent out. I'll remove that tomorrow.

The oil pressure gauge hard line in the '55 Plymouth had a rubber section in it which was cracked and leaking like a sieve. I replaced that with a braided 3AN line. The worst part was having to pull the starter to get to the pressure port on the block.

Had a bad day, today. First, my beautiful motor-plate needs a notch cut to clear the NRC distributor. Then scratched the **** out of my steering column while installing it. It learned to fly.

Removed my power brake booster and sent it off to Booster Dewey today for a refurb. The other day I heard the brake pedal hissing when I pressed it. I'm having it zinc anodized too!

Used a heat gun and putty knife and got the bondo out of the dent in my trunk finish panel. Now I'm looking for the best way to repair it and a few little dings.

I hear you. I hope the dash was out. It is a pain in the *** installing it by yourself even without a dash. I am praying the evaporator does not leak. I had the heater core redone by Glen-ray and a NOS "h" valve...
