What did you do to your Mopar today?

Pulling out the gauge cluster, hoping for the best. Will rebuild over the winter.

Started to inventory my NOS and a few used parts, a thankless job if there ever was one. Take out boxes and number on a piece of paper write the number put next to the part. Then write what the part is NOS or used and a photo. 2 hours and I barely dented it, hate it. Good part found parts I forgot about. 2 single pin NS switches console courtesy lights and 6 or 7 NOS metal fuel filters. Beats me why I bought that many.

pain that it may be, thank you for saving the original parts! Selling any of the fuel filters?

Thinking about it. Will take pictures with Ipad. Don't want to download pic's off SD card until I'm done. Post maybe tomorrow but have one of my few out side the house busy days.

Junk yard crawl for A/C heater controls, fender, defrost duct, front disc setup, and oil pan. Found all the above. Got new motor mounts. Tested blinkers, Emergency flashers and windshield wiper motor. All good. Brake hoses checked and appear new. Pulled fuel tank and sender. They were replaced sometime in the past and are in good shape. Will need differant gasket for fuel sender however as there is slack with the lock ring installed as usual.
Also compression test on the 71 Dart Swinger. @GuaTex09 working on his Coronet, Judah working on my Dart.

Installed a fan shroud on the 75 Cordoba 26'' radiator that we put in the 63 Belvedere. Thanks Moparmarks ! Fit perfect.

SOLD it .. Dart gone .. Charger stays .. I really will miss the Dart, it was a monster 408.. but I've wanted a '68 Charger for a long time.

And, because I couldn’t help myself, I scuffed the engine bay with a scotch bright pad and shot a glamour coat:

I finally got most of the wiring back together and started the Charger for the first time in a couple of weeks. MAN, it sounds great! I love the rumpity-rump idle !

I installed the ACCEL plug wires (#9045C) but, even though they were designed for a 440 Mopar engine, they don't fit well with my 2" TTI headers on the 440; this, despite all the reviews on Summit Racing praising their fitment with headers.

I bought the ACCEL 9000 Ceramic Boot Universal set with all 45/135 degree boots (#9002CK), instead, and will return the first set.

I also bought the Summit Racing HEI male distributor cap and rotor kit (#G5239) and will make the cap end female HEI; I like the positive click and retention better than the stock female cap.

Yes it works real good on vertical surfaces, if you cover it with plastic to keep it damp it will work deep. Moparmatt on A bodies turned me onto the gel.

Yesterday drove down to Carmel Valley to pick up Maria's newest ride. Spent today cleaning and detailing. Bought it from the 2nd owner of 45 years; only 67K miles. Over the years he did a lot of maintenance and upgrades, just needs some TLC in places.
My Mopar garage has been invaded!

Put a starter in mine today.
The DB Electrical starter lasted only two years.
