What does your Early B weigh?

Min goes to 3700 lbs, has framerails, no rollcage, superstock springs 'n all...That was when the 727 was still there. Now, with the A833 I don't know...Oh, and some REALLY big tires. Guess I'm a little lighter now. Somhere arround 3400 I think.

Food for thought,, I was told that a 440 and 225's weight difference is about 50 lbs.
Who told you that? A 440 block weighs in around 225 lbs by itself. A /6 block isn't even close to that. Try about 180 lbs difference.

Does that include an engine of some kind? lol I know mine isn't an early B but it was 3370 weighing in at Houston Raceway Park when I got it. /6 auto with ac and that's it...plus about 100+ lbs of undercoating but I got it down to 2950 using a glass hood, no front bumper (I just like that 55 Chevy bumberless look lol) undercoating removed, no rear seat, no rear window cranks (2 dr post car) and some metal remove via a hole punch in the doors. Keep in mind that the ac was left on it....too hot in Texas not to have that!
