What is a 63 4 door Belvedere worth? May buy one.

Hi guys. Don't have any pics yet but I have seen it. It has been sitting for 2+ years, driven by it whenever I visited a buddy in the neighborhood. I stopped and left my info finally with someone living there. Owner is military and gone a lot. He finally called me today. Not much rust, CA car. Both front doors need dent repair and it'll need the go over of course. It has a poly 318 and is that weird light green. He doesn't know what to ask for it, I don't want to over spend and don't want to fleece the guy either.

I'm a long time Mopar guy, had several Abodies over the years and a 66 Satellite w/383 2 barrel. Loved that car, divorce took it. My grandpa had a 64 Savoy w/413. I have kids in my second marriage, when I saw this 4 door I thought it would be a cool cruiser for us. My wife now is the woman every car guy dreams of. I've been building a 79 Ramcharger 4x4 the last few years and we want a car for cruise nights. So input would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen clean and I mean clean low mileage 63 Fury and Bev. 4 doors sell from 4-6K

Some rust, some dents, not currently running...don't buy potential, there is none. By that I only mean resale value, nothing else. I'd offer $600 and go up to a thou if its something you really like and can see driving.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I didn't think a 4 door would be worth a lot, not the crazy money the two doors get. But I've been playing with Tonka trucks for the last few years, just want make sure I'm not missing anything.

I walked away from a nice green one (4 door) with black top a few years ago with a Poly that was running and currently being driven, solid car. The guy was asking $1400 and seemed open to take less. Since I have had my 63 Fury convertible in a restoration shop over 5 years with no end in sight, I wish now I had bought it to have something to drive to cruise-ins. I bought a 65 Belvedere wagon to drive and find out it's not worth fixing after getting it. Looks like I'll have a Mopar powered wheel chair before I get something finished.

Easy enough to convert to a 2 door if the body is good. Good for parts also. Everything except the doors/associated hardware, B-pillar and body side moldings are the same between 2 door and 4 door.

25 years ago I bought my 66 Belvedere 2dr post /6 auto with working AC for 1150. It still had the original wheels and interior but the driver's side seat was wasted and the rubber floor mat was falling apart. Best 1150 I ever paid for a car.
