Ain't no fame in my game!
Never was much on 'playing the field' and my GF's were usually long term but the majority of them fell in love with me on the first date. Eh, not a bad thing early on but later on it got to be a bit of a pain. Some latched onto me at first glance even though I don't think I'm good lookin. One begged me to marry her but found out too many years later that she was mostly looking for an avenue to move away from home. We did get married many years later after both of us married others and then divorce. 31 years later me and her divorced and my life couldn't be better for it! Claim to fame....naw.I always thought a good measure of fame in that department, for me at least, was how long between the first meet of your partner did it take to get to home plate, so to speak, mine was 45 mins, and we are talking no professionals involved.
I was not a musician; I was a rock & roll sound man.
I am the guy who made it necessary to make a rule that burnouts must not extend beyond the tree at our local strip.
Me, too. One was the chip clip.I had a couple fantastic ideas...only to find somebody else came up with them before I did.
It's on my bucket list, MarkAnd your lives are better for it.
I would have to say having a car that you've personally built/restored and owned for 48 years was selected as a featured car at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals 50th Anniversary of the Plymouth Road in 2018 is a moment I will never forget.View attachment 1673099
